Description:SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Senior Director of Commercial Operations leads business development, market expansion, and commercial strategy across key product lines. This role is responsible for driving go-to-market execution, optimizing sales and marketing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities, including expansion into non-core markets and emerging applications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead business development and market expansion initiatives, including new applications and industries
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies (pricing, segmentation, channels, positioning)
- Develop and manage channel strategy, including distributors, partners, and direct sales
- Establish and grow e-commerce/direct sales capabilities
- Oversee sales operations, including CRM, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics
- Drive marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, campaigns, and industry events
- Manage brand positioning and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to align product strategy with market needs
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Develop budgets and track performance against revenue and growth targets
- Lead and manage internal staff and external vendors/agencies
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 1215+ years of experience in commercial, business development, or sales/marketing roles
- 58+ years of leadership experience
- Proven success in go-to-market strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth
- Experience with sales operations, CRM systems, and performance analytics
- Background managing channel partners and cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience in technical, industrial, or hardware-based industries preferred
