- Senior Consultant/Consultant
Description
Role Summary:
As a Senior Consultant, you are the primary point of contact between Marmore and its clients on consulting engagements. You will be required to chart the clearest path forward
using structured thinking, sharp analysis, and sound judgment. You will lead workstreams on client projects, structure and test hypotheses, synthesise findings into recommendations, and present conclusions directly to senior stakeholders. You will also contribute to business development, mentor junior team members, and help shape the quality and direction of our consulting practice. This role suits someone who thrives on variety, brings intellectual rigour to ambiguous problems, and knows how to move a client from “we’re not sure” to “we know what to do.”
What You’ll Do :
Client Engagement & Delivery :
- Lead day-to-day client interactions on consulting assignments, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Structure complex business problems into clear frameworks and manageable workstreams.
- Design and execute primary and secondary research to fill knowledge gaps and support client decision-making.
- Synthesise findings into clear, actionable recommendations — even under conditions of incomplete or ambiguous data.
- Deliver polished, boardroom-ready presentations and written reports that tell a coherent story from problem to solution.
Strategy & Advisory :
- Support clients across strategic planning, market entry, competitive positioning, feasibility assessments, and organisational design.
- Develop hypotheses and analytical models to evaluate business scenarios and test strategic options.
- Apply financial modelling and valuation techniques (DCF, PE, EV/EBITDA) to underpin commercial recommendations.
- Provide well-reasoned points of view on sector dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory developments relevant to client context.
Project & Practice Management :
- Own project delivery across multiple assignments simultaneously, managing timelines, quality, and client expectations
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, setting clear standards for analytical rigour and professional output.
- Contribute to proposal development and business development efforts, including scoping engagements and preparing pitch materials.
- Track emerging themes and best practices across the MENA consulting landscape to continuously sharpen Marmore’s advisory edge.
Research & Knowledge Development :
- Commission and conduct targeted research to support consulting engagements, drawing on tools such as Refinitiv, Capital IQ, and primary interviews.
- Contribute to thought leadership content — white papers, briefings, and sector reports — that showcase Marmore’s expertise and strengthen client relationships.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience :
- 2–8 years of experience in management consulting, strategy advisory, investment banking, or a similar client-facing analytical role.
- CFA designation, or an MBA / Post-Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in or on the MENA region is an advantage.
Behavioural Attributes :
- Structured thinker who can break down ambiguity into clear, testable hypotheses.
- Confident communicator who can hold their own in senior client discussions.
- Self-directed and organised, able to manage multiple workstreams without losing quality.
- Collaborative team player who also steps up to lead when the situation calls for it.
- Intellectually curious — always learning, always looking for the angle others missed.
