Description
Join Markets Trading Document Management Operations to transform complex agreements into accurate, system-ready reference parameters.Support regulatory initiatives like Pushout while delivering strong productivity, quality, and control outcomes.
As an Operations Analyst within Documentation Management (Document Management Operations - Markets Trading Group), you review legal agreements and extract legal and financial parameters for accurate indexing within JPMorganChase systems. You identify documentation issues and coordinate with internal partners such as Credit and Legal to resolve disputed points within defined timeframes. You contribute to an efficient operating framework by partnering with Legal Operations, Business, Operations, and Technology while meeting productivity and quality measures.
Job Responsibilities
- Review legal agreements (ISDA, CSA, Financing, F&O, OTC, Prime Brokerage) and extract key legal and financial parameters.
- Index extracted parameters into firm systems with strong accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
- Support Markets regulatory projects such as Pushout involving client transfers between legal entities.
- Identify documentation issues and disputed points and coordinate prompt resolution with internal functions (e.g., Credit, Legal).
- Collaborate with Legal, Business, Operations, and Technology partners to improve and sustain an efficient operating framework.
- Partner with regional Legal Operations teams responsible for ISDA master agreement negotiation and transactions to align inputs and outcomes.
- Deliver work to productivity and quality standards by prioritizing effectively, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- 1+ years experience in derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation within an investment bank or law firm
- Strong understanding of derivatives legal documents including ISDA and CSA
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, execute independently and as part of a team, and work to deadlines
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Graduate degree in Law or Commerce
- Postgraduate qualification such as MBA or LLB
- Experience partnering with Legal Operations and cross-functional stakeholders in documentation processing workflows
- Flexibility to work shifts and support time-sensitive deliverables
