Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Private Equity Investment Professional (Korean Speaking) to join our Alternative Investment Team in Hong Kong.

In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility across our Private Equity Fund of Funds (PE FoF) strategies - covering Primaries, Secondaries, and Co-investments . Key responsibilities span deal sourcing, thorough due diligence, portfolio monitoring, client reporting, operations and investor relations support. You will play a crucial role in coordinating directly with headquarters in Korea as well as global GPs and institutional partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deal Sourcing & Execution: Source, evaluate, and track private equity opportunities across Primaries, Secondaries, and Co-investments in accordance with fund mandate and strategy.
2. Due Diligence & Analysis: Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research on target managers and investment opportunities.
3. IC Presentations: Write investment memorandum and present recommendations to the Advisory Board and Investment Committee.
4. HQ & Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge to headquarters in Korea, ensuring smooth alignment, seamless communication, and institutional reporting.
5. Investor Relations & Marketing Support: Prepare high-quality marketing collaterals, pitch books, market outlooks, and ongoing performance updates for clients and stakeholders.
6. Portfolio & Operations Management: Oversee portfolio monitoring and operational workflows, including cash flow management, fund audit coordination, credit facility maintenance, and client reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Experience: 2-6 years of relevant buy-side or investment experience. Prior exposure to PE Fund of Funds or end-LP platforms is preferred, though candidates from broader PE, IB, or asset management backgrounds with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
2. Language Skills: Business fluency or native proficiency in both Korean and English (written and spoken) is essential.
3. Education & Credentials: Progress toward or completion of CFA/MBA is an advantage
4. Execution Capabilities: Strong analytical rigor, financial modeling expertise, and a high degree of comfort managing complex deal workflows independently within a lean team structure.
5. Soft Skills & Professional Maturity: Confident communicator with the conviction to defend investment theses, intellectual curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills to manage GP, client, and executive relationships effectively.
