Position: Assistant, Associate Professor in Information Systems

Position description: Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), a triple-accredited institution (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), opens a position the Assistant or Associate (tenure track) Professor level in Management of Information Systems starting on September 1, 2027. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Management of Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline by the start date. Applicants should exhibit a solid research record and need to demonstrate ability to publish in leading international business peer-reviewed journals, such as Management Science, Information Systems Research, and MIS Quarterly. Selected applicants are also expected to contribute to teaching in Management of Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Management, Privacy, or other related areas. Compensation is competitive with top universities in Europe.

The conditions of employment comply with the terms of Regulation no 409/2018 of 20 June,and the Labour Code, approved by Law no 7/2009 of 12 February, with subsequent amendments ("Labour Code"). Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary depending on the category (Assistant, Associate or Full) and career stage andbased on a full-time contract of 35 hours.
