Description

As a Vice President, Technology Investments, you will play a leading role in originating, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across high-growth technology sectors, including software, fintech, AI, digital infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, and technology-enabled businesses.

You Will Play a Key Role In

1. Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across the technology ecosystem.
2. Leading financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution processes.
3. Developing investment theses and identifying emerging technology trends and market opportunities.
4. Building relationships with founders, management teams, industry experts, advisors, and intermediaries.
5. Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to internal committees and senior stakeholders.
6. Negotiating transaction terms and coordinating external advisors throughout the investment process.
7. Monitoring portfolio company performance and supporting value creation initiatives.
8. Mentoring and overseeing Associates and junior team members.

Requirements

1. 8-12 years of relevant experience, including prior investment banking experience and current private equity investing experience.
2. Proven track record of leading and executing private equity transactions from origination through execution and portfolio management.
3. Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, and investment analysis.
4. Experience evaluating investments across technology, fintech, software, digital infrastructure, AI, or related sectors.
5. Strong commercial judgment and a solution-oriented approach to complex investment situations.
6. Growth-oriented mindset with strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology and innovation.
7. Proactive, entrepreneurial, and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
8. Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. An MBA or CFA is advantageous.
10. Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin communication skills.
