Director, Real Estate Strategy & Business Development

Overview

We are partnering with a diversified real estate platform seeking an experienced leader to drive strategic growth, investment evaluation, partnership development, and business planning initiatives across mixed-use real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Strategic Growth

1. Identify and evaluate investment, acquisition, partnership, and new business opportunities.
2. Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
3. Lead due diligence, transaction evaluation, negotiations, and deal execution.

Business Development & Partnerships

1. Develop strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives to support long-term growth.
2. Identify new revenue streams, business models, and market opportunities.
3. Build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders.

Development Planning & Value Creation

1. Support the planning and positioning of mixed-use development projects.
2. Collaborate with development, finance, design, operations, and project teams on project feasibility and execution.
3. Contribute commercial insights to enhance asset value, customer experience, and long-term performance.

Requirements

1. Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate investment, development, asset management, corporate development, or related fields.
2. Proven track record in investment evaluation, strategic planning, partnerships, or transaction execution.
3. Strong financial modelling, feasibility analysis, and commercial acumen.
4. Experience within mixed-use, hospitality, lifestyle, or destination-led developments is highly advantageous.
5. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA is advantageous.
