Opportunity OverviewTeam Overview:
The Managed Investments team, part of the Wealth Management - Products area, is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of several products. This includes the Edward Jones Charitable Gift Fund offering, the Private Donor Advised Funds (DAF) program (for large philanthropic giving needs) and 529 Education Savings Plans. This team plays a critical role in delivering philanthropic solutions that align with clients' values and long-term financial goals. We partner closely with third-party vendors, internal stakeholders, and branch teams to enhance the DAF and 529 Plan offerings, drive adoption, and ensure a seamless client and branch experience. As a Product Leader, you will shape the future of charitable giving at Edward Jones and help clients make a meaningful impact through philanthropy.
What You Will Do:
- The Product Management People Leader for 529 Plans and DAFs is responsible for leading, developing, and inspiring a team of product managers who own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the firm's education savings and philanthropic giving solutions. This role combines strong product leadership with a deep commitment to development-building a team that delivers client-centric outcomes, drives meaningful product innovation, and advances the firm's long-term strategic priorities.
- Works closely with the Managed Investments Leader and/or General Partner and associates to build the strategy and roadmap for 529 Plans, the Edward Jones Charitable Gift Fund and Private DAFs, ensuring alignment with firm objectives and client needs.
- Develops and enhances the Edward Jones Private DAF product to support the High Net Worth segment and clients. Demonstrate the ability to identify and implement enhancements that will help drive adoption and support segments.
- Drives product enhancements and innovation, ensuring the offerings remain competitive, compliant, client centric, and responsive to Firm feedback and performance.
- Collaborates across Business Segments, Advice & Guidance, Financial Planning, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to deliver integrated and scalable solutions.
- Identifies and executes on opportunities to increase adoption and awareness of the Edward Jones Charitable Gift Fund and available 529 Plan offerings across client segments and branch teams. This will result in considerable influence and collaboration with outside vendors.
- Develops and maintains product enablement resources, training, and marketing materials that support branch team education and client engagement.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for 529 Plan and the Donor Advised Fund and philanthropic solutions for the Firm and industry. Includes advanced knowledge of multiple products and services, features, benefits, pricing, etc. while maintaining an active presence and influence in the industry at large.
- Represents the 529 Plan and DAF product lines in firm governance forums, making recommendations on product changes, vendor updates, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and develop team a team of associates
- Ensure all product communications and processes are compliant and aligned with firm messaging.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the 529 Plans and DAF in firmwide, vendor, and industry events.
- Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the product line while minimizing risk to clients and the firm.

Position Requirements
What Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree required; quantitative or business-related discipline preferred (e.g., finance, economics, business, accounting).
- 12+ years of relevant financial services experience, including:
- Series 7 and 66 required within 12 months of hire.
- Strong background in product management, strategy, or consulting, ideally within philanthropic or investment solutions.
- Considerable experience working with or managing third-party vendors or product partners.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without authority to deliver shared goals.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex business situations with little to no guidance to drive towards action and results.
- Strong business/functional leadership and team development skills.
- Exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Plan, organize and prioritize across multiple bodies of work.
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Highly collaborative and client-focused mindset.
What Could Set You Apart:
- Experience with 529 plans, donor advised funds, charitable giving strategies, or philanthropic planning.
- Familiarity with the Edward Jones Charitable Gift Fund or similar offerings (I.e., Private DAFs)
- Progress toward advanced degree or industry designation (e.g., MBA, CFP, CAP, CFA).
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, Tableau, and CRM systems.
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**

Salary Information
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.
