Overview
A foreign bank n Hong Kong is hiring for an analyst or associate to join their corporate finance team. This individual is expected to have at least 1 year of experience in M&A, investment banking or valuation in FI.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior bankers in the origination and execution of M&A advisory transactions.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations, financial analyses and valuation models.
• Conduct industry research, market analysis, competitor benchmarking and capital structure assessments.
• Assist in transaction execution, including due diligence, data room management, Q&A coordination, documentation and internal approval processes.
• Coordinate with clients, external advisers and internal stakeholders throughout deal execution.
• Monitor market developments and maintain relevant databases, research materials and presentation templates.
• Collaborate across product and coverage teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and mentoring of junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Min1 years of relevant experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Valuation or Corporate Finance.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required.
• CFA, CPA or MBA qualifications would be advantageous.
