A well-established, well-capitalized automotive dealer group is conducting a confidential search
for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy and execution across a multi-
state, multi-franchise platform.
This is a rare opportunity for a truly hands-on CFO to join a successful organization with
substantial working capital, a strong foundation, and significant plans for continued growth.
Headquartered in one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, our organization
operates multiple rooftops across Florida and Georgia and represents several of the most
respected brands in the automotive industry.
We are in growth mode. We are actively pursuing continued expansion and are looking for an
experienced financial leader who can help take our organization to the next level—supporting
current operations while helping guide acquisitions, expansion, capital deployment, and long-
term growth.
This is not a position for someone who wants to manage from a distance. We are looking for a
proven operator who combines strategic financial leadership with a willingness to roll up their
sleeves and stay closely involved in the details of the business.

Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of our executive leadership team,
responsible for overseeing all financial functions of the organization while partnering closely
with ownership on strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, capital deployment, expansion,
and long-term planning.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in a multi-franchise dealership
environment, along with a demonstrated ability to scale financial infrastructure, lead high-
performing teams, improve processes, and drive performance across multiple locations.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations,
- forecasting, budgeting, cash management, and treasury functions
- Maintain a hands-on role in the financial operations of the organization while providing
- strategic leadership at the executive level
- Partner directly with ownership and executive leadership to evaluate, structure, and
- execute acquisition opportunities and capital investments Establish and enhance scalable financial systems, reporting frameworks, processes, and
- internal controls across a growing multi-state platform
- Provide timely, data-driven insights to improve operational performance and profitability
- at both the dealership and enterprise level
- Lead and develop a finance organization that emphasizes accountability, accuracy,
- efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and the Board on financial performance, risk
- management, capital strategy, and long-term planning
- Support continued expansion by helping ensure the organization has the financial
- infrastructure, processes, and discipline necessary to grow successfully
Requirements
We are seeking an accomplished financial executive who understands both the strategic and day-
to-day realities of operating a successful automotive dealer group.
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant experience within a multi-rooftop, multi-franchise automotive dealership
- organization
- A proven hands-on management style and the ability to operate effectively at both
- strategic and tactical levels
- A track record of scaling financial processes, teams, reporting, and infrastructure within a
- growth-oriented organization
- Experience supporting acquisitions, expansion, and capital deployment
- Experience working directly with ownership groups, boards, and/or private investors
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across functions and
- organizational levels
- The judgment, discipline, and entrepreneurial mindset necessary to help take an
- established organization to its next stage of growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a multi-dealership
- environment and/or public accounting
- Proven success leading finance teams and supporting organizational growth initiatives Automotive retail experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
