Description
The Private Client Banking Marketing team is part of the Consumer Bank Marketing organization and is responsible for shaping the vision for how we support our rapidly growing affluent customer segment. Our focus is on offerings designed specifically for this audience-Chase Private Client and J.P. Morgan Private Client. We are seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Product Marketing leader to shape the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our affluent consumer banking products and experiences.As Vice President of Product Marketing within Private Client Banking, you will drive a deep understanding of affluent customer needs and motivations, convert insights into compelling value propositions and launch plans, and partner with cross-functional colleagues across Product, Experience Design, Analytics, Brand, and Channel Execution to bring innovative solutions to market. You will develop and champion a deep understanding of affluent clients, craft compelling and differentiated positioning, and partner closely with marketing strategy and campaign management to bring our value propositions to life. You will collaborate across teams to inform and enable acquisition, onboarding, engagement, growth, and retention efforts, and share insights on the impact of marketing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a sharp, nuanced understanding of affluent customer needs, behaviors, and financial goals through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Synthesize market trends, customer journeys, and competitive dynamics to influence product and experience roadmaps.
- Translate insights into differentiated positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with high-net-worth clients.
- Partner with brand, product, design, legal, and communications teams to ensure messaging continuity and alignment.
- Lead go-to-market strategy and planning for new features, enhancements, and product introductions.
- Orchestrate cross-functional alignment, launch briefings, and execution requirements to ensure flawless delivery.
- Develop launch KPIs and influence measurement frameworks to track impact and optimize performance.
- Provide strategic input and direction on creative concepts, campaign messaging, collateral, and in-market assets.
- Ensure customer-relevant, insight-backed storytelling across owned, paid, and earned channels.
- Collaborate with internal creative partners and agencies to deliver world-class marketing assets.
- Identify learning opportunities, generate insights from performance data, and translate findings into recommendations for future initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 7+ years of marketing experience focused on product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or go-to-market strategy.
- Proven success translating customer insights into differentiated positioning and actionable marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to guide creative development and elevate storytelling for premium audiences.
- Track record of orchestrating complex, cross-functional launches with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions, develop strategies, and shape leadership narratives.
- Excellent executive communication, influencing, and storytelling capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action; equally comfortable being hands-on
- Experience in high-growth, innovation-oriented environments highly valued.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across diverse teams at all levels, including brand, research, product, technology, market strategy, campaign management, and agency partners.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- MBA and/or Leadership Program experience.
- Experience with or familiarity in private banking and wealth management.
- Financial services, tech, or premium consumer experience
