Live Oak Veterinary Specialists (LOVS) is an independently owned, specialty and emergency hospital founded by Jason King, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), cMAV, cVPP, MBA. Dr. King brings more than 15 years of specialty experience and a passion for progressive, team-driven medicine.

Position: Veterinary Technician (Full-Time)
We’re seeking skilled Veterinary Technicians (RVT, LVT, CVT, or experienced technicians encouraged to apply) to join our growing specialty and emergency team. At LOVS, technicians are valued professionals and essential to patient care and client communication. You’ll work directly with specialists and emergency clinicians in a progressive environment that prioritizes mentorship, learning, and professional growth.
What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality patient care alongside our specialists and emergency doctors
Assist in advanced diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, and critical care procedures
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and learning-focused culture
Support innovation in medical protocols and hospital workflow
Compensation & Benefits
Technicians:
Starting at $18/hour, higher for RVT/LVT/CVT and VTS certifications
VTS technicians may manage recheck appointments and earn production bonuses
