With a collaborative and flexible approach, they partner with management teams to build and grow great businesses, emphasizing long-term value creation through strategic, operational, and financial initiatives.
Role Overview
The firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join its Portfolio Management & Value Creation team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the firm's portfolio companies by driving strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and performance tracking aligned with the firm's investment thesis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to identify and execute value creation initiatives across sales, marketing, product development, operations, and finance.
- Support the development and execution of strategic growth plans, including market expansion, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance, KPIs, and financial metrics to ensure alignment with investment goals.
- Assist in the creation of value creation plans and post-investment roadmaps.
- Conduct industry and competitive research to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage portfolio companies from a financial standpoint and operations.
- Partner with deal teams during diligence to assess operational capabilities and identify post-close value creation opportunities.
- Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committee updates and LP reporting.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting (preferably value creation)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio management experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working directly with senior executives or management teams.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred for Senior Associate level.
