Description
The Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) Department at the College of Business at Florida International University is seeking qualified applicants for tenure track open rank positions in Information Systems (IS). Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related field of study from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent at the time of appointment and have evidence of strong research productivity within the information systems (IS) topic area (must be “SA” by AACSB standards). The primary teaching responsibilities include teaching Information Systems courses at the graduate level in the PhD in MIS, MS-IS - Business Analytics, Business Cybersecurity, and Business Artificial Intelligence tracks, MS in Health Informatics and Analytics (HIA), MS in Health Informatics and Artificial Intelligence (HIAI), MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Cybersecurity Risk Management and specialized Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence graduate tracks within other Master’s degrees, as well as undergraduate BBA programs in IS and Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
Requirements
. The department is specifically interested in candidates with experience and expertise in the following areas: artificial intelligence, business analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and AI methods. Healthcare research and teaching expertise is desirable. Evidence of research productivity is required. Relevant industry experience is preferable. The 9-month course load will be a 2 + 2 course load. Additional summer teaching opportunities may be available. Salary will be competitive, and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
