The TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) division has been established to pursue medical isotopes development--advancing nuclear science for significant human health benefits. We seek to support revolutionary radiotherapies for treatments of various cancers through the supply of radioisotopes. TerraPower currently has unique access to a supply of thorium for the long-term production of actinium-225 in the growing alpha therapy market and intends to expand into other nuclear related medical treatments.

Senior Project Manager - TPI
TerraPower Isotopes (TPI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the design, construction, and commissioning of a state-of-the-art cGMP radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This role provides critical project management leadership across all phases of the project and will operate under stringent FDA and NRC regulations. The Project Manager will report to the Principal Project Manager and work closely with a multidisciplinary team including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance to ensure the project is delivered safely on schedule, and within budget.
This facility will require detailed design and integration of hot cells, specialized HVAC systems and regulated process environments. The Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating these complex technical interfaces, ensuring compliance with cGMP and radiation safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Lead all phases of a capitol radiopharmaceutical manufacturing project: design, construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Manage project cost, schedule, scope, and quality using industry-standard project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, etc.).
• Drive vendor and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with FDA, NRC, and cGMP requirements.
• Monitor project health through integrated scheduling, earned value, and risk management tools.
• Maintain clear communication and alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including risk-registers, change logs, and executive reporting.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve project conflicts and issues, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned workstreams.
Key Qualifications and Skills
• B.S degree, with M.S, MBA or advanced degree preferred in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related subject or relevant similar experience
• 5+ years of project management experience in a regulated environment (life sciences, biotech, pharma, nuclear, aerospace, medical device, or similar).
• Proven success managing large, complex capital projects
• Familiarity with cleanroom, containment (hot cell and glovebox), and facility retrofit projects strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), risk management, and integrated scheduling tools.
• Strong working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality by Design (QbD), and validation protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.

Salary Range Level 10: $117,922 - $176,883
Salary Range Level 11: $138,6857 - $208,027
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
