About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project / Program Manager to lead high-impact implementation and transformation projects within Private Markets and Alternative Investments. You will play a key role in delivering complex client engagements - from strategy to system deployment - ensuring our clients achieve operational excellence and measurable business value.
Working in an international and collaborative environment, you will guide clients through the full project lifecycle: defining scope, managing execution, integrating data and technology solutions, and driving successful go-lives. The role offers the best of both worlds: the structured discipline of program delivery and the dynamic variety of consulting engagements.
As a Senior Project Manager (Private Markets), you will play a crucial role in leading the planning, execution, and closing of client projects in private markets, ensuring their successful implementation and deployment. You will be responsible for managing all implementation activities and the related work streams, liaising with clients, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

This commitment extends to forging enduring partnerships with our clients at the highest levels, facilitating ongoing growth and success beyond the implementation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects in Private Market Fin-Tech Solutions (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and related asset classes)
- Oversee program governance, resource planning, and budget control to meet agreed milestones and service levels
- Manage technology and data solution implementations, including system integrations and workflow optimization
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality delivery experience
- Support clients in portfolio management and reporting solution roll outs, including configuration, testing, and user adoption
- Provide strategic advisory and change management support to enhance client productivity and performance
- Contribute to internal best practices, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in project or program management within Financial Services, ideally with exposure to Private Markets
- Proven track record in delivering technology or data solution implementations; ERP or portfolio management system experience is a plus
- Consulting, advisory, or transformation experience with top-tier clients or firms preferred
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
- Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) advantageous, demonstrated experience in solution implementation, integration management, or client support, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Team-oriented, client-centric, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in an international setting
- Excellent resource planning and program management skills to manage complex workflow-type processes.
- Excellent written and spoken English, fluency in written and spoken German is a must
- Intercultural skills to succeed in a diverse and international environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and project deployments.
