Description
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing investor relationships and driving asset management initiatives. This position requires not only strong asset management skills but also the ability to execute deals, particularly in the Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in conducting comprehensive market research, business performance reviews, and investment analyses, including financial modeling (NPV, IRR, DCF) and valuation of potential real estate investments.
- Collaborate with the legal department to identify and address legal considerations in real estate projects.
- Prepare investment recommendations and memoranda for senior management.
- Maintain and enhance a property database to support research and market analysis.
- Oversee and manage the performance of company investments, including asset enhancement strategies, CAPEX requirements, revaluation, and divestment plans.
- Conduct ad hoc research and analysis as needed.
Main Requirements:
- Degree or higher in Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with qualifications such as CFA, FRM, HKIS, RICS, MBA, or CAIA.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation, land matters, lease modifications, and real estate development practices in Hong Kong.
- Familiarity with the real estate markets in major cities across China is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a commitment to accountability.
- Proven leadership abilities and proactive team coordination skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and financial modeling software.
