We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior International Proposition Manager, Proposition Development.
In this role you will:
- Formulate, develop, and execute a comprehensive business strategy aimed at enhancing the acquisition, servicing, and deepening of relationships with international customers.
- Manage overall performance of the business, identify areas for development gaps and growth opportunities, and implement specific improvements to boost productivity and maximize growth potential.
- Drive engagement initiatives for deepening of international customers, monitoring related performance metrics, and coordinating various events with internal staff community to collect timely insights & feedback from target audience for improvement of products/services.
- Collaborate with marketing team to raise awareness of HSBC amongst prospective clients through campaigns (ATL & BTL), thought leadership & targeted outreach initiatives.
- Lead the preparation & materials for governance forums, supporting timely updates to management and liaise with stakeholders on the delivery of actions
- Drive the effective roll out of new business initiatives such as campaigns, cross border collaboration, to support new to bank acquisitions among non-resident and international prospects while ensuring all initiatives and execution are in full compliance with Legal and Regulatory requirements
- Meet COP and FRP targets by executing strategic initiatives as planned, ensuring alignment with the agreed-upon customer and revenue growth targets.
- Engage and collaborate with various key stakeholders, including teams from Propositions, Marketing, Risk, Legal and Compliance, Group International counterparts and other corridor representatives, to ensure that business growth aligns with the strategic direction of AMH WPB.
To be successful you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in retail banking with in-depth understanding and experience in the financial or banking sector
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership/management experience required
- University degree or relevant post graduate qualification. Advance degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
- Strong business acumen with advanced strategic planning and project management skills and a hands-on approach to drive improvement and resolve problems
- Proven record in strategy formulation on international banking business and retail banking with strong understanding of customer behaviours and needs related to banking and wealth.
- Excellent understanding of WPB strategic imperatives and being able to translate them into business objectives and policies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders across businesses and functions with ability to influence senior teams
- Strong written, analytical and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Exposure and previous experience with consulting or multi-cultural and cross-country programme management preferred Language skills preferred: English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
