Poste et missionsJoin Our Dynamic Team at Natixis as a VP Portfolio Manager!
Are you ready to take the next step in your career with a leading global financial services firm? Natixis is looking for a passionate and skilled VP-level Portfolio Manager to oversee our Loan Portfolio for the Americas, with a focus on exposures to primarily Infrastructure/Project Finance, renuables/electricity pipelines etc. and related commercial and investment banking products. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the realm of corporate finance, project finance, and specialized banking products.
The business, based in New York, covers general financial counterparty credit exposures (non-market based) longer than one year.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Lead Credit Quality Monitoring: Diligently monitor a dedicated portfolio of loans or companies from closing through to final maturity or resolution, ensuring consistent high standards and performance.
- Collaborate Effectively: Build strong relationships with Originators, understanding their needs while independently providing strategic credit and portfolio recommendations. Your insights will help anticipate and address credit risk issues proactively.
- Conduct Comprehensive Reviews: Prepare annual and quarterly loan reviews, managing renewals, amendments, waivers, credit ratings, and loss-given-default assessments. Your analytical skills will drive portfolio optimization and effective risk management.
- Innovate Financial Models: Develop and maintain accurate financial models that reflect various rating methodologies, ensuring compliance with US regulatory frameworks.
- Evaluate New Transactions: Provide critical insights through drafting detailed deal opinions, analyzing the attractiveness of new business opportunities.
- Enhance Organizational Efficiency: Identify and propose process improvements to senior management, streamlining operations and optimizing the team's effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
- CFA designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- 4+ years of relevant experience required: portfolio management, credit analysis and experience with infrastructure/project finance.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present and defend recommendations to senior committees.
- Ability to defend recommendations on transactions at senior committee levels through oral and written presentations.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with proficiency in Excel (eg, cash flow modeling capabilities).
- Strong quantitative/analytic skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task. Able to work collaboratively with internal partners.
- Knowledge of legal lending contracts and regulatory aspects of banking is a plus.
- Ability to create and maintain macros and general object-based programming isbeneficial.

The salary range for this position will be between $160,000 - $200,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
