Our Operating Partner will play a pivotal role in driving value creation across our portfolio, partnering with management teams to accelerate growth and operational excellence.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operating Partner to join our team, with a primary focus on enhancing the performance of our portfolio companies. This role is ideal for a strategic operator with a proven track record in turning around and scaling businesses. You will collaborate closely with investment professionals, CEOs, and executive teams to identify opportunities, implement operational improvements, and deliver outsized returns for our investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Company Support: Lead hands-on initiatives to optimize operations within portfolio companies, including process improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue growth strategies.
• Value Creation Planning: Develop and execute tailored value creation plans for each portfolio asset, focusing on areas such as supply chain optimization, digital transformation, and talent management.
• Executive Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership, providing guidance on strategic decisions, operational improvements, and growth.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and dashboards to track portfolio performance, conducting regular reviews and intervening where necessary to mitigate risks.
• Talent and Team Building: Assist in recruiting and developing high-caliber management teams for portfolio companies, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work alongside deal teams during due diligence to assess operational risks and opportunities, and post-acquisition to ensure seamless integration.
• Industry Insights: Stay abreast of market trends and best practices, applying them to drive competitive advantages across the portfolio.

Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years in senior operational roles (e.g., COO, CEO, or equivalent) within private equity-backed companies or high-growth environments. Prior experience as an Operating Partner or in consulting for PE firms is highly preferred.

Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge in one or more of our focus sectors (manufacturing, logistics, consumer goods), with a demonstrated ability to drive earnings growth and operational efficiencies.

Skills: Strong analytical mindset with expertise in financial modeling, lean operations, and change management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Education: MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.

Personal Attributes: Results-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Willingness to travel up to 50% to portfolio company sites.
