- NRP & Thoracic Procurement Surgeon (Sub-Contractor)
Description
Integration Health is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to do thoracic Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) and thoracic organ procurement in central Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience with thoracic transplantation, organ preservation and procurement, and NRP. Equally important are the leadership and people skills to work in a group setting, be collaborative, listen and integrate feedback from others, and to manage different teams and stakeholders in the procurement process. Integration Health provides NRP, Cardiovascular Perfusion, and ECMO Services to >70 facilities in 24 states.
Key Details:
Start Date: January 1, 2026 or sooner
Compensation: $500,000-$800,000 depending on NRP/transplant volume
Schedule: Call is 21 days/month which can be broken into two blocks, remaining time is vacation time (16 weeks a year). Current volume is 5-8 NRP/Procurement cases a month, but this may increase over time. Response time to the facility is two hours.
Qualifications: Must be ABTS Certified (or foreign equivalent) and eligible for Florida licensure. Must have experience with thoracic NRP, cardiovascular perfusion, organ preservation, and thoracic organ procurement.
