Responsibilities
This position will manage operations across eight sites statewide in Minnesota. This position will support and aim to enhance practice efficiency and standardize processes in the ophthalmology departments, improving efficiency and patient quality. Responsibilities include managing ophthalmology technicians, supporting retinal injections, ensuring clinic coverage, and standardizing practices. Improving practice efficiency will focus on assessing staffing levels, redesigning roles, managing patient volumes, streamlining workflows, implementing best practices, and utilizing technology for better coordination. The departments goals will be achieved by optimizing staffing levels to reduce costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and increasing patient throughput. By standardizing processes, supporting staff, and improving efficiency, the new manager will play a crucial role in achieving financial targets and delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
• COA, COT or COMT required.
• BA/BS in Business Administration or MBA preferred.
• Preferred: Previous management experience.
• Preferred: C.R.A.; Certified Retinal Angiographer, N.C.L.E.; National Contact Lens Examiner, R.O.U.B.; Registered Ophthalmic Ultrasound Biometrist.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - required at time of hire or obtained within 6 months of hire.
