Tennessee Department of Treasury Investment Division is seeking an Intermediate Investment Analyst to support the public fixed income portfolio within the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS). This position offers a stimulating and rewarding opportunity to work with a talented team of investment professionals in a creative environment. This position is located in Nashville, TN.
The Fixed Income Portfolio represents over $13 billion in net asset value within the TCRS. This position will be responsible for assisting the portfolio managers with the discovery, research and evaluation of investments for inclusion in fixed income portfolios. This process will include industry, credit and statistical analysis. In addition, this position requires administrative work related to fixed income trading and portfolio management. After a training period the candidate is expected to also be actively involved in the management of the State’s short term cash portfolio as well as other pension-related fixed income portfolio under supervision. In addition to the TCRS portfolios, this position may participate in the management of other portfolios under the direction of the Treasurer.
Requirements
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
Minimum three years of relevant experience, and/or some qualifying work toward either the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a post-bachelor program in a relevant field, or an MBA
