Description
Our client, a global quantitative hedge fund, are actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their team in Hong Kong. you will be responsible for driving business development efforts and building strong relationships with institutional clients. Your expertise will be vital in expanding their client base and promoting their quantitative investment strategies.The role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, understanding their investment objectives and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring high levels of service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hedge fund space, expanding the client base and increasing assets under management.
- Conduct outreach to potential clients and arrange meetings to present our investment strategies and performance.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and discussions with clients.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on potential growth areas.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and prospects, showcasing the fund's performance, strategies, and market insights.
- Collaborate with the research and investment teams to ensure alignment in client communications.
- Work closely with senior management, portfolio managers, and research analysts to articulate the fund's value proposition effectively.
- Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance the fund's visibility and reputation.
What you offer:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 6+ years of sales experience in the hedge fund or investment management industry, with a proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing institutional clients.
- Knowledge of quantitative investment strategies and familiarity with the hedge fund landscape.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to make informed recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing demands.
