About The Role
The Finance Transformation Manager plays a key role in driving the evolution of Diageo's Finance Function, leading initiatives that enhance efficiency, digital adoption, and people capabilities. This role supports the design and execution of the Finance Transformation roadmap - connecting technology, process, and culture change to deliver a more agile, insightful, and future-fit Finance organization.
The role partners closely with regional transformation teams, Finance business partners, and cross-functional team members to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives that simplify ways of working, strengthen controls, and unlock value for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Process Excellence
- Lead and coordinate Finance transformation projects across LATAM, ensuring alignment with global strategy and timelines.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements that drive standardization, automation, and efficiency.
- Partner with Finance teams to simplify reporting, planning, and operational processes, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Support the design and deployment of new systems or tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, AI-driven solutions).
Technology & Digital Enablement
- Act as a key enabler for Finance digital transformation, driving adoption of data analytics, automation, and self-service tools.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure local needs are represented and delivered effectively.
- Promote a digital-first mindset across the Finance community.
Capability & Change Management
- Build Finance capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Support the cultural shift towards continuous improvement, agility, and accountability.
- Engage and influence customers across different levels to ensure buyagreementd adoption of new processes and tools.
Governance & Performance Tracking
- Establish clear critical metrics to measure transformation success (efficiency gains, process adherence, automation rates, etc.).
- Ensure strong governance, documentation, and compliance within all transformation initiatives.
- Provide insights and progress updates to regional and global leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Confirmed experience (8+ years) in Finance, Transformation, or Process Improvement roles within FMCG, Consumer Goods, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes (Record to Report, FP&A, Source to Pay, etc.).
- Experience with digital tools and technologies (ERP systems, Power BI, RPA, data automation).
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and handling change.
- Advanced English; Spanish is a plus.
