DescriptionOur valued client is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Manager to join its NYC Finance team.
This nonprofit is leading a bold movement to expand opportunity and access for high school students. As a business partner and key collaborator, finance plays a central role in turning that vision into measurable impact. Reporting directly to the COO, the FP& A Manager will shape how resources are deployed, how growth is funded, and how leadership makes mission-critical decisions.
It's a hybrid position (3 days onsite) offering the rare opportunity to pair financial leadership with meaningful community impact. The organization offers exceptional benefits in addition to a compassionate, support work environment.
Position Overview:
• Serve as a strategic financial partner to senior leadership, leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning
• Build dynamic financial reports and executive dashboards to translate data into clear insights for decision-making and board reporting
• Analyze revenue, spending, and grant activity to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive operational efficiency across the organization
• Partner cross-functionally and strengthen financial infrastructure
Requirements
Your Background:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience finance, preferably in the NFP space
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Advanced Excel
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate financial data into clear, strategic recommendations
