Our client is a preeminent global investment firm with a proven track record of identifying and investing in high-growth companies across various sectors. Due to continued business expansion, they are seeking an exceptional professional to join their high-caliber due diligence team. Position Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Due Diligence Manager to play a critical role in our investment process. You will be responsible for leading financial due diligence on potential investment targets, with a primary focus on deep-dive financial analysis, quality of earnings assessment, and identification of key value drivers and risks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and a passion for uncovering the true story behind a company's financials and its position within an industry. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute comprehensive financial due diligence for potential investments (including LBOs, growth equity, and minority stake investments). Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, focusing on quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, and cash flow sustainability. Assess the target's financial projections, business plan viability, and underlying assumptions. Identify key business and financial risks, synergies, and opportunities for value creation. Collaborate closely with investment professionals to translate due diligence findings into actionable insights and investment recommendations. Manage interactions with target company management, third-party advisors, and industry experts. Prepare and present clear, concise, and impactful due diligence reports and findings to the investment committee. Qualifications and Experience Outstanding academic credentials, including a bachelor's degree from a top-tier university. An MBA, CFA, or CPA qualification is highly preferred. 6 to 12 years of relevant professional experience, with a background that combines: Path A: Significant experience in a Big 4 accounting firm's transaction services (TS) or financial due diligence (FDD) practice, followed by a Financial Business Partnering (FP&A/BP) role within a manufacturing company. Path B: A comprehensive finance leadership track within a large multinational manufacturing corporation (e.g., a prestigious finance leadership rotation / graduate program). Mandatory experience within the manufacturing sector; exposure to multiple other industries is a significant advantage. Native or fluent English language skills are essential, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Ideal Profile Analytical Excellence: Possesses a sharp, analytical mind and exceptional attention to detail. Business Acumen: Goes beyond the numbers to understand business models, competitive landscapes, and operational drivers.
