Description
Job Responsibilities:- Support Relationship Managers in providing family office related service to high net-worth individuals and contribute to customer retention and growth;
- Advise clients in the context of an international taxation/legal environment spanning across mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, U.S., Canada, Australia, Singapore, etc.;
- Provide tax/legal advice to HNWI clients on individual income tax planning, wealth transfer planning (onshore trust, offshore trust, insurance), residence and immigration planning, estate and gift tax, estate planning, entity structuring;
- Identify and assess client needs, offering insights regarding the use of trusts, , family office, companies, partnerships, insurance and other tools from tax and legal perspective;
- Collaborate closely with sales teams on managing a portfolio of clients, and provide after-sale consulting;
- Coordinate with external parties including corporate service providers, accounting firms and government agencies;
- Research, writing and consulting on various international tax matters.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines. MBA degree holder is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with 5 years of experience in law firms, accounting firms or family offices. Solid experience in private banking industry is an advantage.
- Profound knowledge of individual income tax regulations in China. Extensive knowledge of major countries/regions' individual income tax regulations, i.e. Hong Kong SAR, U.S., Canada, Australia, Singapore etc..
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax planning for HNWI in the context of international taxation environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of trust, family office and offshore structures.
- Solid experience and knowledge in investment is an advantage.
