You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Equity Plan Management. You have found the right team.As the Equity Plan Management Vice President within JPMorgan Chase's Centre of Excellence, you will lead the India-based team in managing the daily administration of various share plans, including Purchase Plans, Stock Options, and Restricted Stock Plans. You will handle client events such as enrolment, purchase, vesting, and exercise of options, ensuring precise record-keeping for all share plan transactions. Your role involves supporting clients' strategic goals through innovative share plan management, delivering high-quality service, and focusing on business-as-usual operations. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to enhance and transform processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Job responsibilities
- Manage equity plan administration for a portfolio of companies within a collaborative team environment.
- Prepare reports for clients and their payrolls.
- Develop strategy presentations and data to support decision-making.
- Support the delivery of share plan administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete routine data processing tasks, such as data uploads, reconciliations, and standard processing, in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive procedural and process documentation to ensure accurate transaction processing and minimize risk.
- Lead and support transformation projects aimed at enhancing business operations.
- Foster an inclusive culture by enhancing employee engagement, attracting and developing talent, and applying advanced coaching and mentoring skills to promote professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
- Drive execution of operational strategy and present business updates to critical stakeholders, including senior leadership, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and policies.
- Demonstrate accountability by quickly identifying and articulating issues, collaborating with stakeholders to assess risk and manage activities affecting the production environment, and prioritizing resolution.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Postgraduate or MBA with at least 10 years of experience in financial markets.
- Proven team leadership and people management experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of equities. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis and understanding data flows.
- Proactive and positive approach with ability to learn concepts and procedures quickly. Delivery-focused with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to optimize relationships and collaboration with team, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, managing projects, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Understanding of cybersecurity controls and anti-fraud strategies to identify and prevent potential threats, ensuring the protection of information and systems, with a proven track record in enhancing customer experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio and Project as well as SharePoint.
