We are seeking resourceful candidates to join the Credit Opportunities team within the Financial Research group in Bengaluru. This team provides in-depth support to the firm’s global proprietary trading strategies by conducting fundamental credit analysis of corporate bond and loan issuers across geographies, helping front-office desks assess and manage credit risk effectively.
WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will undertake fundamental credit analyses of corporate bond issuers across geographies and work with front office desks in the primary and secondary markets. You will prepare business summaries, historical financial and operating highlights, and summarize impactful developments. Additionally, you will analyze corporate credit quality, prepare notes from virtual roadshows, and concisely summarize industry/company/financials specific nuances. You will also be required to assist the front office in reading and extracting key terms from credit documentation such as collateral packages, guarantee structures, and
springing maturities, including other ad hoc projects like short capitalization tables, seniority analysis, and relative value tables.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate should hold-
Basic qualifications:
- An MBA in Finance or an equivalent professional qualification (CFA/CA), together with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Robust fundamental corporate credit analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a keen eye for detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in investment-grade or high-yield space
- Exposure to corporate credit analysis of US or European borrowers
