Well established ophthalmology practice, with its own ASC, seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Administrator to lead our busy organization in the Charlotte area. This individual should bring strong leadership, financial expertise, and a people-first approach to managing our experienced team. We are proud of our reputation for compassionate, high-quality eye care, and we’re seeking someone who will help us continue to thrive while supporting both our doctors, patients and our staff.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all operations of the practice-Administrative and Clinical.
Lead and support a dedicated team, handling all aspects of human resources, including hiring, training, and staff development.
Partner with physicians to shape practice growth through marketing and community outreach.
Oversee financial management: budgets, reporting, revenue cycle, and accounting functions.
Ensure the practice stays on track with compliance, payer requirements, and industry standards.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a medical practice administrator, ideally within ophthalmology or a related specialty.
- Strong background in human resource management and staff recruiting/hiring and training.
- Demonstrated skills in marketing, financial analysis and accounting.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of practice management software, information technology and healthcare compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. MBA or MHA preferred.
