ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR of PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE in MARKETING

Neeley School of Business, Texas Christian University

 Texas Christian University invites applications for the non-tenure track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Marketing in the Neeley School of Business beginning August 2024.

 Position Details

The marketing department is focused on hiring an individual who has the interest and expertise to teach undergraduate and graduate-level quantitatively-oriented courses (using appropriate instructional approaches and software) in (1) Marketing Research and (2) Marketing Analytics. The position requires a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field but is not a tenure track position. The position entails teaching 12 credit hours (4 courses) per semester, teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level (e.g., MBA, MS in Business Analytics), providing high-level service to the department, college, and university, and performing other faculty responsibilities.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to enhancing the professional environment in the Neeley School. Candidates must have relevant experience in teaching marketing research and marketing analytics courses. Evidence of a strong track record and excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is essential. Applicants will not be evaluated on the basis of their research, and there are no expectations of research productivity for re-appointment. Appointment level depends on relevant teaching and/or professional experience. Salary range is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. 

 About the Marketing Department

The marketing department offers undergraduate majors in marketing and an MBA concentration in the area. The department also offers courses in the MS in Business Analytics program, and it runs the TCU Sales Center at the Neeley School of Business. The department also offers customized executive education and an EMBA course in advanced marketing strategy.
