China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in management information systems and operations management in the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences. While candidates at all ranks will be considered, preference will be given to senior assistant professors and above. The school’s working language is English. Faculty members may choose to be based at any of CEIBS’ Chinese mainland campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen.
Candidates across all areas of management information systems and operations management – particularly those with expertise in AI, big data, and machine learning –must hold a PhD (or equivalent degree) from a highly regarded doctoral programme, or be near completion. Junior candidates should demonstrate strong potential for publication in leading academic journals and a clear commitment to teaching excellence, while senior candidates are expected to have a strong track record in both research and teaching. Successful applicants are expected to pursue a rigorous, sustained research agenda, contribute actively to the school’s intellectual community, and teach at the MBA and executive levels.
