The Supply Chain and Systems Intelligence department at Marquette University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence starting August 2026.
Marquette is a Jesuit institution proud of its liberal arts base. Milwaukee is a "great place on a great lake" with Summerfest, major sports teams, its own symphony, opera, ballet, and repertory companies. It is 90 miles from Chicago, Madison, and Green Bay.

Requirements
Applicants should hold a Ph.D., or be close to completing one, in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution when employment begins. Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred. They should have strong methodological training, outstanding research achievements or potential for publication in top journals, and excellent teaching and communication skills. The new faculty member is expected to be actively involved in research, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, and interfacing with the industry through advisory boards, networking events, and one-on-one interactions.
Candidates should have a strong interest in teaching courses, preferably in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The candidate should demonstrate skills in more current areas such as advanced analytics, programming languages in Python and/or R, emerging and disruptive technologies such as generative artificial intelligence in business, Fintech and Blockchain.
The new faculty member will also be involved in the design and support of any new undergraduate programs related to Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Business, as well as graduate programs such as the MBA and certificates. Most critically, candidates with a strong publication record/potential are particularly desirable.
