Job Purpose/Overview: The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy. The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst will support the local regulatory reporting for the German Legal Entities. Ensuring timely and accurate local regulatory reporting (COREP; Capital Monitoring, FINREP, Statistical Reports) for Germany entities. Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive reengineering initiatives. This role involves the daily coordination with the service center in Budapest supporting local German regulatory team. Coordination of projects and change-initiatives for the local German regulatory reporting team.
Responsibilities:
Support the local regulatory reporting for the Germany Legal Entities and the day-to-day management of Finance relationship with the German and other regulators.
Drive and support change process by ensuring further technical improvements and high-quality deliveries from the solution centres in particular related to the German regulatory requirements (COREP, Capital Monitoring, FINREP, Statistical Reporting) as well as future requirements determined by the Regulators.
Support the implementation of new regulatory rules and requirements as well as respective tailored reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
Work with external and internal auditors for all regulatory related queries.
Interact with International teams on regulatory reporting to ensure knowledge transfer in all directions.
Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures.
Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive re-engineering initiatives.
Support the day-to-day management of Finance relationship with the Banking Regulators.
Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans.

Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Services preferred (multinational experience would be an advantage).
In depth technical knowledge of German regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e. CRR, CRR3. BRRD and Basel Accords.
Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as external auditors.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Very good analytical and technical skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and German (beneficial).
Practical experience with Finance processes.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
MBA or Professional Degree an advantage.
