- ED Strategic Growth & Innovation Lead
Description
The Executive Director Strategic Growth & Innovation Lead will drive initiatives that modernize and optimize how Arcutis engages with patients, healthcare providers, and ecosystem partners. This role is responsible for building and implementing innovative commercial models and digital access pathways that increase therapy adoption, reduce barriers to care, and elevate the overall patient experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and launch of innovative commercial programs, including telehealth platforms, direct-to-patient engagement portals, and new access models.
- Identify and implement partnership opportunities with large scale dermatology practices to expand education and improve access to treatment.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Patient Services, Market Access to identify friction points in the patient journey and implement solutions.
- Translate strategic business goals into actionable roadmaps that drive measurable outcomes
- Analyze market and customer insights to inform new commercial opportunities and competitive differentiation.
- Own end-to-end program planning, including business case development, pilot design, vendor selection, operational readiness, rollout planning, and performance tracking
- Work in collaboration with Patient Services and Market Access to ensure programs address real-world barriers such as reimbursement challenges, provider onboarding, pharmacy coordination, and therapy fulfillment.
- Collaborate with external vendors, technology providers, and strategic partners to enable platform and program execution
- Facilitate collaboration and decision-making across leadership teams by articulating the business rationale, patient impact, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Use data and customer feedback to inform continuous improvement cycles, iterating, optimizing, and scaling programs based on real-world outcomes.
- Champion a patient-centric mindset and foster a culture of innovation across the commercial team.
Education & Licenses and Experience
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in commercial strategy, digital innovation, patient services, or related roles within biopharma, healthcare, or healthcare technology.
Competencies & Skills
- Demonstrated success in overseeing agency/vendor relationships to drive performance, optimize budgets, and deliver measurable business outcomes
- Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute and operationalize ideas.
- Familiarity with digital health platforms, telehealth, patient access solutions, or similar technologies is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Agile mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving business needs.
- Strong strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable solutions
- Ability to influence without direct authority, build alignment across leadership teams, and move programs forward amidst competing priorities.
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership, initiative, and accountability for outcomes.
- Travel up to 30%.
