Job Summary

Responsible for the strategic guidance and oversight in the areas of cash, liquidity and short term debt management for the global company while developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with counterparts that support US Treasury. Areas of responsibilities may include cash management, liquidity forecasting and short term debt management including commercial paper, oversight of armored car relationship, letters of credit and working capital management. Oversees the development of innovative approaches, processes, products, services for treasury which supports the overall business plan. Partners with Treasury Business partners on key strategic initiatives, such as M&A integration activities, and supports integration and alignment of treasury processes and procedures across existing and new partners.

Job Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for the strategic guidance and oversight in all areas of US cash management and short term debt and investment management for the global business, while developing and maintaining deep relationships with counterparts that support US Retail Treasury.
  • Responsibilities will include cash management, liquidity forecasting, armored car, letters of credit and working capital management.
  • Guide a team of treasury professionals responsible for cash management, liquidity, and store services.
  • Strengthen relationships with our banking partners and key business partners such as accounting, integration, legal counsel, payments, tax, and advisors.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with counterparts that support US Retail treasury. Seeks to expand, contract and modify existing partnerships in order to support the strategic needs of the business. (i.e banks, armored carriers, treasury service providers, working capital management providers, etc.).
  • Continual review of processes and procedures for cash management and forecasting to ensure efficiency and accuracy through the processes.
  • Oversees the development of creative approaches, processes, products, services, etc. in the area of treasury which support the business plan.
  • Collaborates with Treasury Business partners on key strategic initiatives, such as M&A integration activities, to support integration and alignment of treasury processes and procedures in the US division.
  • Mentors, guides, and develops staff members into a premier team through orientation, training, goal setting, constructive feedback, open communication, constructive discipline Encourages and promotes team member engagement.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years OR High School GED and at least 9 years' experience in Treasury, finance accounting, business mgmt., quantitative analysis or economics
  • Experience working as the financial liaison on a business team.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
  • Experience working with current developments and trends in the business unit finance, treasury and banking industries.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • At least 2-yrs. of experience contributing to financial decisions within the organization.
  • At least 3-yrs. of team guidance, indirect guidance and cross functional team guidance.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10-yrs. of experience in a critical thinking role in treasury, finance, accounting, business management, quantitative analysis or economics, or High School Diploma/GED and at least 13-yrs. of experience in a critical thinking role in treasury, finance, accounting, business management, quantitative analysis or economics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Advanced degree or MBA.
  • Experience working with cash management, capital markets, fixed income, business unit finance, treasury operations, payments and merchant services.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
