- Assistant Professor of Finance
Description
- Teach 15 credits per year in the Finance Department, College of Business. New faculty teach 12 credits in the first year and are eligible for a reduced teaching load upon demonstration of excellence in research. Courses will be taught in both the undergraduate as well as the graduate MBA program.
- Promote an environment of principled and ethics-based instruction consistent with the values and ideals of our Catholic, Jesuit institution.
- Publish in high quality journals that meet the University promotion and tenure standards.
- Demonstrate active participation in national and international academic conferences.
- Support and advise students.
- Contribute to College and University committees as deemed fit.
- Contribute to the larger academic community in the form of journal, conference, and other support.

Requirements
Earned doctorate or a terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high-quality research. ABD may be considered. Teaching experience in the relevant area at the University level or professional training experience highly preferred.
High priority areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, Corporate Finance, Behavioral Finance, and Fintech.
